Lacoste

Lacoste is a brand that sells clothes and accessories. They are most known for their polo shirts that have a little crocodile on them. The crocodile is the Lacoste logo. The man who started Lacoste was a tennis player from France named Rene Lacoste. He was really good at tennis, and he won many championships. But he didn't like playing in the outfits that tennis players wore back then. He thought they were too uncomfortable. So, he made his own shirt that was comfortable and easy to move in. The shirt had a little crocodile on it because Rene's nickname was "The Crocodile." People liked the shirt and started asking where they could buy one. That’s how the Lacoste brand was born! Today, Lacoste makes all kinds of clothes and accessories, but their polo shirts are still very popular.
