Land mine

A land mine looks like a small round metal box with a trigger inside it. It is a dangerous weapons placed under the ground or sand in areas of wars or conflicts. When someone steps on it, the trigger is activated and boom, it explodes, creating a massive blast that can hurt or kill the person. Land mines are designed to stop soldiers and tanks from advancing and protect important places, but they often hurt innocent people who have no idea there are land mines around. That's why they are considered cruel and dangerous weapons that should be avoided.
