Laneway house

A laneway house is a small house or apartment that is built on an extra piece of land behind a regular house. The laneway house usually has its own entrance from the back of the regular house, and it is often rented out by the owners of the regular house to make extra money. People living in the laneway house usually have their own kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and living area, just like in a regular house or apartment.
