Langar (Sikhism)

Okay kiddo, so in Sikhism, langar is a really important thing. It's like a big meal that anyone can come and eat, no matter who they are or where they come from.

In Sikh temples, called gurdwaras, they have a special room called a langar hall where they serve this meal to everyone who comes to visit.

The food is usually vegetarian and cooked by volunteers who give their time to make sure everyone has something to eat.

The idea behind langar is that everyone is equal and should be treated the same, no matter how rich or poor they are, or what religion they follow.

So, in a way, langar is like a big family meal where everyone is welcome, and it's a way to show love and kindness to others.
