Laplace's method

Laplace's Method is a way to figure out the probability that something will happen. It is named after French mathematician Pierre-Simon Laplace who thought of it in the 1700s. To use Laplace's method, you start by looking at the possible outcomes of a situation. Then you look at each outcome and figure out the chances that it could happen. You add up all of the chances for each outcome to find the total chance that something will happen. Laplace's Method is a useful tool for predicting probabilities.
