Laser bonding

Okay kiddo, do you know what lasers are? They are like super-powered flashlights that shoot out a very strong beam of light! They can do a lot of cool things, like cut through metal or show pictures on a screen.

Laser bonding is when we use lasers to stick two things together. Like when you put glue on paper to make a craft, but instead of glue we use a laser.

First, we take the two things we want to stick together, like two pieces of metal or plastic. Then, we point the laser at them and turn it on. The laser beam heats up the surface of the things, and melts them a little bit.

Now that they are melted, they start to mix together and become one piece. It's like when you melt cheese on a sandwich, and the cheese sticks to the bread.

When the melted parts cool down, they become solid again and become a strong bond that is hard to break apart.

This is helpful in making lots of things, like cars, airplanes, or even in the medical field. And that's how laser bonding works, little buddy!
