Late Modernism

Late modernism is like finishing a drawing in your coloring book. It's the last part of the art style called modernism that grown-up artists used from a long, long time ago.

Your coloring book has a lot of different pages with different pictures. Some pages have really easy pictures with only a few spaces to fill in, and some pages have really hard pictures with lots of tiny spaces to color. Modernism was also like a coloring book, but instead of pictures, artists used different colors, shapes, and lines to create beautiful art.

Late modernism is like the last page of the coloring book, where you've already colored most of the pictures and now you want to add the finishing touches to make it even better. The grown-up artists in late modernism wanted to add even more interesting shapes, patterns, and colors to their art to make it unique and creative.

Sometimes, this made the art look very strange or confusing, like a puzzle that's hard to solve. But that's the point of late modernism - to make art that makes you think and feel different things like sadness, happiness, or confusion.

So, in summary, late modernism is like the last page of the coloring book, where artists use different shapes, colors, and patterns to create unique and interesting art that challenges us to see things in new and different ways.
