Latent semantic mapping

Latent semantic mapping is like a way of talking about things using words that are related, like how if you're talking about apples, you may also talk about things like fruit, or apple trees. This is so that if someone searches for "apple", all of the related terms show up too. The technology uses computer programs to look at words, see how they're related, and map them out together so they can all be found when someone searches.
