Okay kiddo, have you ever heard of a festival called Holi? It's a big celebration in India where people throw colorful powders and water at each other to celebrate the coming of spring.
But there's another special kind of Holi called Lathmar Holi! This happens in a town called Barsana and it's a bit different than regular Holi.
In Lathmar Holi, the women of Barsana pretend to be angry with the men from a nearby village called Nandgaon. They dress up in colorful saris and carry big sticks called lathis. When the men come to Barsana, the women chase them away with the sticks! But don't worry, nobody gets hurt, it's just for fun.
After the women chase the men away, everyone celebrates with singing and dancing! And of course, throwing colorful powders and water at each other like in regular Holi.
So Lathmar Holi is a special version of Holi where the women get to pretend to be tough and chase the men away. It's all in good fun and everyone has a great time celebrating the arrival of spring!
