Ethics is about making good decisions and doing the right thing in different situations that we might find ourselves in. We use ethical principles (or rules) to help us decide how we should act and make sure that we treat other people fairly and with respect. For example, if you were in a store and you found something valuable that belonged to someone else, one of the rules of ethics would be to try to return the item to its rightful owner.
