Latifundio–minifundio land tenure structure

Latifundio-minifundio is a way of dividing up land in a region. Latifundios are large pieces of land owned by the government or wealthy people, while minifundios are smaller pieces of land owned by normal people. The latifundio owners usually have more money to invest in their land, so their land is more fertile and produces more crops. On the other hand, the minifundio owners usually have less money to invest, so their land is less fertile and produces less crops. The wealthier people with the latifundios tend to have more power in the region, while the people with the minifundios have less power.
