Law of the Sea

Okay kiddo, let me introduce you to the "Law of the Sea".

Imagine you and your friends are playing in the sandbox on the beach. Just like you all have your own toy buckets and shovels, different countries have their own parts of the ocean where they can fish or look for treasures.

But what happens when two countries want to use the same part of the ocean? That's where the "Law of the Sea" comes in. It helps countries figure out how to share the ocean and make sure everyone is being fair.

The "Law of the Sea" has a lot of rules to make sure the ocean is used wisely and safely. It says how far away from the shore a country's special part of the ocean goes, how ships should travel through it, and what happens if there is pollution or illegal fishing.

It's important to have rules for the ocean because it belongs to everyone and we want to keep it clean and healthy for all the fish and creatures who live there.
