ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

League of entropy

League of Entropy is a group of really smart people who work together to make sure that the numbers that computers use to encrypt (or protect) information are totally random and safe. They use something called "entropy" which means randomness, to create those numbers.

Imagine you have a candy jar and you really want to make sure you and your friends get an equal number of candies. You could just count them out and divide them, but that might not be totally fair because some candies might be bigger or smaller than others. So instead, you close your eyes and pick candies randomly until the jar is empty. This way, you get a completely random number of candies and it's totally fair for everyone.

In the same way, League of Entropy creates random numbers that are used by computers to keep your passwords and private information safe. They use something called "trusted execution environment" which is like having a safe place where only certain people can go to create those random numbers. That way, hackers can't sneak in and mess things up.

So basically, League of Entropy is like a group of super-smart people who make sure your private information is safe by creating really random numbers that are almost impossible to guess.
