Leannán sídhe

Leannán Sídhe is a type of fairy found in Scottish and Irish stories. They are usually beautiful female spirits, who have the power to give inspiration and special gifts to the people they like. The Leannán Sídhe would fall in love with someone, usually a poet or a musician, and give them special gifts in return for their love. But, the person who accepted these gifts had to agree to give something back to the Leannán Sídhe. For example, they might have to give up part of their life or even their soul. In some stories, these gifts might help the person become more successful or even get them inspiration and ideas. But sometimes, accepting these gifts could also lead to a dark and unhappy ending.
