Legal dispute over Quebec's language policy

Hey kiddo! So, you know how in Quebec, people speak both French and English? Well, the government there made a rule called the language policy that says things like signs, advertisements, and even the language used in some workplaces have to be in French.

But some people don't agree with this rule! They think it’s not fair because they also speak English and they want to be able to use it too.

So, they went to the courts to ask if the language policy is allowed or not. It's like asking the teacher if the rules in class are fair or not.

Now, the judges have to decide if the language policy is okay or not. It's kind of like a game where the judges have to figure out what the rules should be.

Some people might be happy with the decision, while others might be upset. But everyone has to follow the rules, even if they don’t like them.
