Legion Condor
Legion Condor was a group of soldiers from Germany who went to Spain a long time ago (in the 1930s). They were there to help another group of soldiers called the Nationalists, who were fighting against a group of other soldiers called the Republicans.
The Nationalists and the Republicans were fighting over who gets to control Spain, and Germany wanted to help the Nationalists because they were friends with them. So, they sent the Legion Condor to give them weapons, airplanes, and other things to help them fight.
