Lek mating

Lek mating is a type of courtship behaviour seen in many species of animals. In lek mating, male animals come together in a particular place and do special courtship displays to attract the attention of female animals. These places are called leks and the males compete with each other to try and impress the females. The females will then choose which male they prefer for mating.
