Lemang is like special rice that people in some countries make to eat during special events and holidays. It's made by taking special rice, washing it, and then mixing it with coconut milk. Once it's mixed together, it gets put into a special type of bamboo stick that's been cleaned and soaked in water. The bamboo is then covered with banana leaves and cooked over a fire for many hours until the rice is fully cooked inside the bamboo. Once it's cooked, the bamboo is broken open and the inside is soft and kind of sticky - almost like a cake. People like to eat it with things like spicy chicken, beef or fish. It's really yummy and a special treat that people like to share with family and friends!
