ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Leucoplast

Leucoplasts are tiny parts of plant cells that help the plant make and store important things like starch and oils. They are like little factories inside the plant cell that are responsible for making and storing important materials that the plant needs to stay healthy and grow. Just like how your body needs food to grow and stay healthy, plants need these special materials to do the same. Think of leucoplasts like a plant's pantry or storage room, where they keep all their important supplies.
