Liberation theology

Liberation theology is a kind of religious belief or way of understanding God that focuses on the idea that God's love and care can be seen in working for justice and equality for those who are oppressed or treated unfairly. This means that we should work hard to help the poor and the disadvantaged in our world and make sure that everybody has what they need to live a full and happy life.
