Liburnians

Okay kiddo, so Liburnians were ancient people who lived a loooong time ago in a place called the Balkans which is in Europe. They were very good sailors and loved to be out in the sea. They had their own boats which they used to catch fish and trade with other people who lived near the sea.

They were very brave and tough, and they fought a lot of battles with other people who wanted to take their land and their boats. They would wear special armor that protected them from swords and shields to protect them from arrows.

Even though they didn't write many things down, they were very important in the history of the Balkans because they were one of the first groups of people who lived there. They also influenced other people who came later, like the Romans who learned a lot from the Liburnians about building ships and sailing.

So, the Liburnians were tough, brave, and smart sailors who lived a long time ago in the Balkans and were very important in the history of that area.
