Liebig's Law of the Minimum is a law that explains how a plant can only grow as much as the scarcest resource, or the "limiting factor". It was developed by a scientist named Justus von Liebig who noticed that a plant's growth was often limited by the availability of just one resource, like water, sunlight, or minerals from the soil. The Law of the Minimum says that if one resource is in low supply, plants will not grow, even if all the other resources are abundant. If we want to help plants to grow, we need to make sure that every resource is available in good supply.
