Critical path method

Critical path method (CPM) is a way of managing projects. It helps to make sure that projects get finished on time by breaking it down into lots of smaller steps. Each step (called an 'activity') has to be done in the right order and it takes a certain amount of time. CPM looks at all of the activities and the time it takes to complete each one, so it can tell you which activities you need to do first, and when you need to finish the tasks. It also tells you when the project will be finished overall. That way, you can stay on track and make sure that the project is done on time.
