Lift strut

A lift strut is like a stick that helps hold up something very heavy, like a car's hood or a plane's wing. It's kind of like a super strong spring that can push or pull to help keep the heavy thing in place.

Imagine you're playing with a toy car and you put a heavy block on top of it. The car can't move because the block is too heavy, right? But if you put a lift strut under the block, it can help hold up the weight so the car can still drive around.

Now, lift struts are used in real life to help support heavy things like car hoods or plane wings. They're made of strong metal and have special gas or fluid inside that helps them push or pull. This makes it easier to open and close things that are really heavy and helps keep them in place when they're not being moved.

So, the lift strut is like a super strong stick that helps hold up heavy things and makes it easier to move them around.
