Light Therapy

Light therapy is a way of treating certain medical problems, like depression, by helping your body get used to more sunlight. It is a simple and easy treatment that can be done at home. You sit with a special lamp that gives off bright light. You do this for a certain amount of time each day, usually in the morning or in the evening. The light helps your body make more of a hormone called serotonin, which makes you feel happier and helps you to sleep better. Light therapy can help people who are having trouble with their mood, sleep, or energy.
