Light rail

Okay kiddo, imagine a train that runs on tracks like a big bus. But instead of going on the road like a car or bus, this train runs on its own special tracks that are usually above the ground or underground.

This train is called a light rail, and it's a type of public transportation that helps people get around in cities. It's called "light" because it's smaller and lighter than a regular train, and it usually carries fewer passengers.

When you ride on a light rail, you sit inside a special car that is attached to the train. There are usually different stops along the way where people can get on and off. Just like a big bus, you need to pay for a ticket or pass to ride on the light rail.

People like light rail because it's often faster and more reliable than driving a car in traffic. It can also be less expensive and more friendly to the environment.

So if you ever visit a big city with a light rail, you can hop on board and explore the city without having to worry about driving or parking!
