ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Limited-stop

Imagine you and your friends are taking a bus to a party. The bus usually stops at every stop to let people on and off. But today, the bus driver decided to take a shortcut and only stop at some special stops that are very busy and important. These special stops are the only places where the bus will stop, and everyone must get on or off there.

This is what we call a "limited-stop" bus. It only stops at certain stops, which means it can get to its destination faster than a regular bus. It's like a shortcut to get where you want to go quickly.

Just like the bus, some trains and other modes of transportation also have "limited-stop" options. They skip some stops to save time and get people to their destinations faster. It's helpful for people who are in a hurry or for when a lot of people need to get somewhere quickly.
