ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Linda (coordination language)

Linda is a way for different computer programs to talk to each other and work together like a big team. It's like when you play a game with your friends and everyone has a job to do, but you all have to work together to win.

In Linda, each program can send messages to each other about what they're doing and what they need help with. So if one program needs something from another program, it can ask for it and the other program can respond and give it what it needs.

This way all the programs can work together and get things done faster and more efficiently than if they were working alone. It's like having a big group of friends who all want to help each other out and make sure everyone succeeds.
