Line stander

A line stander is someone who stands in line for another person. Imagine you and your mom want to go on a ride at an amusement park, but the line is very long. Your mom could ask a line stander to wait in the line for her while she goes to do something else like get some snacks or go to the bathroom. The line stander will hold your mom's spot in line until she comes back. That way, your mom doesn't have to wait in the line the whole time and can do other things instead. Line standers are helpful when you want to save time and it's something that some people are willing to pay for.
