ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Linguistic philosophy

Linguistic philosophy is a way of looking at the world and how we use words to understand things. It looks at each word and how it is used in different contexts and how it can be interpreted. It helps us think about language and how it affects our thoughts and beliefs. For example, when we use a word like "dog" we think of an animal that barks, but if we thought about it more deeply, we might think of a loyal companion or a protector. Linguistic philosophy helps us think about what the meaning of words can be and how different people might interpret them differently.
