Lipper average

Lipper Average is a way of measuring how well a mutual fund (a kind of investment) does over time. It looks at how much money the fund makes or loses compared to other funds that do the same kind of investments, like stocks or bonds. The higher the Lipper Average number, the better the fund's performance is compared to the other funds.
