Liquid state machine

A liquid state machine is like a box with lots and lots of different tiny bases inside. Each base is like a tiny piece of paper that has a code written on it. When you add liquids to the box all the pieces of paper move around and mix together. Eventually, the pieces of paper will settle down and stay in the same place. The code on each piece of paper is like a signal that can help the liquid state machine solve certain problems.
