Live CD

A live CD is a special type of computer disc that contains the operating system of a computer. This means that when you put the disc in your computer and turn it on, your computer will run the operating system from the disc instead of the one that is normally installed on the hard drive. The operating system on a live CD can be used for various things such as troubleshooting, recovering data, or just trying out a new operating system to see if you like it.
