Loft (3D)

A loft is like building with layers of clay or playdough stacked on top of each other to create something that looks like a real thing, except it's made on a computer. Imagine if you had a toy car that was flat and you wanted to make it 3D or add depth to it. You could take a piece of clay or playdough, and mold it to make it look like the top of the car. Then you can add another layer of clay or playdough and use it to mold the sides of the car. You would do this again and again until you have the entire car built with layers that give it depth and shape. That's what a loft in 3D is like! It's a way to build things on a computer that are three-dimensional, using layers to make them look realistic.
