Logarithmic distribution is like a graph that shows how many of something there are. For example, you could use logarithmic distribution to show how many people live in different places, or how many of something there are in different sizes. The special thing about logarithmic distribution is that instead of counting from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc., it starts with a number (called the base number) and then multiplies it by itself to get the next number. It looks like a curved line when you graph it, and it's really helpful to show how many of something there are as it gets bigger -- like how many cities there are of different sizes.
