Lonsdaleite

Lonsdaleite is a type of gemstone. It is very hard and strong because it is made up of tightly packed atoms which are arranged in a special, strong pattern. It is usually found near meteorites that have crashed down to Earth in the past. You can recognize the gemstone because it is usually very shiny, and usually grey or silvery in color.
