Lost Boys of Sudan

Okay kiddo, let's learn about the lost boys of Sudan.

A long time ago there was a war in a country called Sudan. Many people had to leave their homes and go to other places to be safe. Some of these people were children who got separated from their families. These children became known as the "lost boys" of Sudan.

These lost boys had to walk long distances in search of safety. They had no parents to take care of them and they had to learn how to survive on their own. Sometimes they had to drink dirty water or eat plants just to stay alive.

These lost boys kept moving and eventually some of them made it to a refugee camp in a neighboring country called Kenya. At the refugee camp, they received help from organizations and people who wanted to help them. Some of these lost boys were able to go to school and learn new things.

After a while, some of the lost boys were able to move to other countries like the United States, where they could have a better life. But even though they were living in a new place, they still missed their families and their home in Sudan.

The lost boys of Sudan went through a lot of hard times, but they were brave and strong. People all around the world learned about their story and wanted to help them. Today, many of these lost boys are adults who have started new lives, but they still remember where they came from and the struggles they went through.
