Lotka-Volterra equations

The Lotka-Volterra equations are a set of equations used to describe interactions between two or more species. The equations tell us how the size of the different species in an environment change over time. For example, one species might eat the other, or compete with each other for food or space. We can use the equations to predict how the different species will interact with each other over time.
