Lyapunov time

Lyapunov time is like a timer for a certain system. It measures how long it takes for a system to become unpredictable. If you think about a clock, the lyapunov time can tell us how long it takes for the clock to get off schedule - in other words, how long it takes the clock to get out of sync. In more technical terms, this time measures how quickly a system loses its stability and starts to behave in an unpredictable way.
