Three-body problem

The three-body problem is when you want to predict what will happen between three planets, stars, or other objects that are pulling on each other with gravity. Because all three are pulling on each other, it makes it impossible to figure out exactly what will happen unless we can calculate and measure exactly how much gravity each one is causing. That would be a lot of math and be very complicated, so usually we can only guess what will happen.
