MANET

Okay, imagine you're playing with your friends outside in a big field but there are no adults around to tell you what to do. You all have your own toys and games and you want to play together and share things with each other.

That's kind of like what a MANET is! MANET stands for Mobile Ad-Hoc Network, which means a group of electronic devices (like phones, tablets, and laptops) that can connect and talk to each other without needing a specific internet connection or like a Wi-Fi router.

Just like how you and your friends can all talk to each other and share your toys without needing grown-ups to set up the games or make a rule, the devices in a MANET can all communicate with each other without needing a central authority to tell them how to do it.

It's pretty cool, but it also has some challenges because all devices in a MANET have to work together and be on the same page to make sure the communication is clear and fast. But overall, a MANET is a way for devices to talk to each other without needing a internet connection or a central authority to control them.
