ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

MBM (file format)

Okay kiddo, have you ever seen a book with a lot of pictures in it? Sometimes those pictures are made by a computer and saved as a file. That file is like a container that holds all the information needed to show the picture.

Well, MBM is a special kind of file format used for pictures on phones. It helps phones display the picture on the screen in the right way, with the right colors and sizes. It stands for "Multi BitMap" and it can hold multiple pictures at once.

When you take a picture on your phone, it is saved as a file with the MBM format so that it can be easily viewed and shared with other people. But MBM files can also be used for other things, like showing icons and logos on the screen.

So next time you see a picture on your phone, remember that it might be saved as an MBM file!
