ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

MacGregor 21

A MacGregor 21 is a type of small sailboat that people can use for fun and to sail across bodies of water, like lakes and oceans. It is called a MacGregor 21 because it is 21 feet long, which is about as long as four bicycles parked end-to-end!

The boat is made out of materials like fiberglass, which makes it strong and durable. It has a tall pole called a mast that holds up a big piece of cloth called a sail. When the wind blows, it catches the sail and pushes the boat forward. This is called "sailing".

There is also a long stick called a tiller that helps steer the boat. When you move the tiller left or right, it turns the boat in that direction. It is kind of like how you ride a bike and turn the handlebars to the left or right to steer.

Inside the boat, there are seats where you can sit and relax. There is also a little kitchen area called a galley where you can prepare food and drinks. It's like your own little house on the water!

Overall, a MacGregor 21 is a really cool boat that lets you enjoy the outdoors and sail across the water. It's perfect for families and friends who want to have fun and explore the world around them!
