ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Mace-Kingsley Ranch School

The Mace-Kingsley Ranch School is a place where kids go to live and learn. It's kind of like a big house with lots of rooms and other kids and adults who take care of you.

But at this school, they do things a little differently than you might be used to. They have rules that you have to follow all the time, and they teach you things in a very particular way. Sometimes they might ask you to do things that you don't really understand or don't want to do, but they say it's for your own good.

The people who run the school say that they can help kids who are having a hard time with things like school or family problems. They use something called Scientology to do this. Scientology is a kind of religion/philosophy that some people follow.

The people at the Mace-Kingsley Ranch School believe that if they can help kids understand Scientology better, it will make their lives better too. Some kids really like the school and feel like it helps them. But other people think that the school is too strict or that they're trying to force their beliefs on kids who might not really want them.

So basically, the Mace-Kingsley Ranch School is a place where some kids go to learn and grow, but they do it in a pretty unique way.
