ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Machine ethics

Machine ethics is when a computer makes decisions like a human would. That means it follows rules and makes decisions based on what is right and wrong, just like a person would. A computer needs to be programmed with these ethical rules to make sure it is making decisions that are appropriate. Each industry might have different ethical rules for machines depending on what kind of decisions they are making, so it is important to consider what is best for each situation.
