Magnetic Resonance Imaging (journal)

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a type of medical test that uses strong magnet and radio waves to take pictures of the inside of your body. MRI scans allow doctors to see inside your body and look for things like tumors, tears in organs, and other changes. The MRI machine has a large magnet inside, and it sends out radio waves that can “see” through your body and create an image. The image created is called a “journal,” and it looks like a lot of black and white shapes. Doctors can look at the journal and see what is happening inside your body. By looking at these images, doctors can tell if something is wrong with your body, and they can decide how to treat it. So the MRI machine helps doctors figure out what is going on inside your body without having to do surgery.
