Magnetic sail

A magnetic sail is like a sail for a boat, but it's made of strong magnets instead of fabric! Magnetic sails are tools used in space to help propel a spacecraft forward through the use of magnetic fields. This works by using a really strong magnet at the front of the spacecraft which interacts with the charged particles of the solar wind, creating a kind of push. This push helps the spacecraft move and speeds it up, almost like wind pushing a sailboat.
