Spacecraft propulsion

Spacecraft propulsion is the way spacecraft move. It is like a car engine but instead of using gasoline, spacecraft use something called rocket fuel. Rocket fuel is a fuel that is made of lots of different chemicals. When those chemicals mix together, it creates a reaction which makes gases and hot flames come out of the rocket engine. Those gases and flames push the spacecraft away from Earth. That's how a spacecraft can move away from Earth and explore outer space!
