Mahabharata

The Mahabharata is a really old story from India about some very important and powerful families who were at war with each other. The main characters in the story are the five Pandava brothers who fight against their cousins, the Kauravas. The Pandavas wanted the kingdom but the Kauravas didn't want to share it. So, after lots of fighting and battles, the Pandavas eventually won the battle and got what they wanted. The story is about how the Pandavas won the battle, and how even though it was a long and hard struggle, justice was eventually served. It's an important story in India and is still remembered today as a lesson in how good things happen when you work hard and stay true to your beliefs.
