Mainframe computer

A mainframe computer is a very big computer that has parts that look like a bunch of cabinets put together. It's like a big closet that stores lots and lots of information.

It's special because it can do lots of things all at once and can handle jobs from lots of different people or companies all at the same time. It's really good at remembering things and can hold a lot of information, like all of the phone numbers in the whole world!

It's also very strong and sturdy, like a superhero. It has lots of safety features to make sure that the information it holds stays safe and doesn't get lost or destroyed.

Many big companies and organizations use mainframe computers because they can hold so much information and handle lots of different things all at once. It's also really good at running things like big bank accounts, airline reservations, and health records.
